Then there is also a possibility of issues and bugs because it`s running on mac etc. There are some Macs that could meet the minimum system requirements, but they are so expensive that you`d be better off building your own Windows PC. Also know that Macbooks use integrated Intel GPUs which are horrible for gaming. Like slohbur said, you`ll need to bootcamp a 64-bit Windows on it. Hi, I don`t have a mac, but I can tell you that you won`t get the advertised GTA5 PC experience on a mac. and I suppose as a luddite I should appreciate that the anti-Mac sentiment hasn't changed since the 1980s. Thanks to the couple of folks that tried to help. And more and more smaller developers are also supporting MacOS.This is an answer I can use. There are still plenty of triple A titles that won't come out on MacOS, but some are. In general, Mac gaming is getting better. And more and more smaller developers are also supporting MacOS.

So either wait for somebody to chime in about those or only target the high-end machines (high-end 15inch MacBook Pro or 5K display iMac) I suspect any of the machines that don't come with 2GB or better graphics memory may not work so well (MacBook, MacBook Air and low-end iMac). I *think* I've got GTA 5 set at (or near) the highest settings.

I haven't tried running it in Parallels or vmWare under MacOS.can almost guarantee it will perform poorly since it's emulating the graphics card and passing it over to MacOS (only ever tried Sid Meier's Beyond Earth this way.and it's not terribly graphics intensive, but was horrible.but this was before the MacOS port came out). It runs fine and is more than capable of running GTA V. Running it in bootcamp on a 15inch mid-2014 MacBook Pro with the 2GB NVidia graphics card.
